Joseph Reddick, Jr

Joseph Reddick Jr., departed this life on Thursday, October 12th, 2023, at his home in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was 59 years old and a native of Pointe A la Hache, Louisiana.
He was born on March 20, 1964, to Leona Praline Encalade and Joseph Reddick Sr. Loving father of Ishon Thomas, step father to Nutrinika Barthelemy. He was also a bonus father figure to his nephew Walter Reddick. Brother of Wanda (Paul) Jones, Charlene (Terry) Overstreet, Jacqueline (Reggie) Encalade, Shanell (Alonzo) Mercedel, Leon (Tanika), Gerald and Reginald Reddick. He is also survived by a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and devoted friends.

Joseph is preceded in death by his parents Leona Praline Encalade and Joseph Reddick Sr. His siblings, Linda Reddick, Fredrick Calloway and Joann (Quincy) Phillips. Godparents, Morgan Smith and Gloria Bolton.

Joseph will forever be missed by his family and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral mass which will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at St. Thomas Catholic Church located at 17605 LA - 15 Pointe A La Hache, LA 70082. The visitation will begin at 9 a.m., and the service will begin at 11 a.m. Father Sampson Abduli officiating and entombment will follow at St. Thomas Catholic Church Cemetery.
