Joseph “Quintin” Harry Barthelemy was called home to glory on Friday, March 19, 2021. He was 65 years old and was born on August 1, 1955, to the late Sydney Joseph Barthelemy and Myrtle St. Ann Barthelmy. He was married to the love of his life, Pamela A. Barthelemy for 47 years.
Joseph was a native of Port Sulphur, LA, where he attended Port Sulphur High School. He worked as a Lead Maintenance Technician for over 35 years with his final years at Infamark - Water & Infrastructure Services.
Joseph was a devoted and dedicated husband, brother, uncle and friend. He will always be known for his fun-loving and jovial spirit and a smile and laugh that brightened everyone’s day. He was the life of the party even when there wasn’t a party.
Joseph leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife Pamela “Pam” Barthelemy, his sisters Deborah “DC” Carter and Lisa Piquet, brothers Steven Barthelemy and Anthony “Savanty” Barthelemy, sister-in-laws Glenda Barthelemy and JoAnn Baker, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Joseph is preceded in death by his parents Sydney and Myrtle Barthelemy, brothers Gilbert Sylve and Ricky Barthelemy, and sister Theresa “Dale” Barthelemy.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, March 26, 2021, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church located at 28683 LA-23 Port Sulphur, LA 70083 for 11 a.m. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Father Gerard Stapleton officiating and entombment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery located at 1225 Whitney Ave. Gretna, LA 70056. Due to COVID – 19, there will not be a repast.
