Jona Adele Duplessis

Jona Adele Duplessis transitioned to eternal life on Monday, November 25, 2024 at Ochsner Medical Center Westbank Campus, she was 50 years old and a native of Plaquemines Parish Louisiana.

Loving mother of Asia Arianne Duplessis. Devoted friend of Derrick Johnson, Sr.
Beloved daughter of Earline Reddick Duplessis and the late Anthony James Duplessis, Sr. Sister of Anthony James Duplessis Jr. and Shannon Michael Duplessis Sr. Aunt of Paris Lynn and Shannon Michael Duplessis Jr. Great aunt of Pailynn and Paitlynn Brown. Granddaughter of the late Lawrence and Helen Davis Reddick and the late Clarence Duplessis and Katherine Jones. She is also survived by 4 aunts and 3 uncles and numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.

Jona was a graduate of Port Sulphur High School and Delgado Community College. She was an employee of Ochsner Medical Center Elmwood until her health began to fail.

Relatives and friends of the family, parishioners of St Patrick Catholic Church and all neighboring churches, employees of Kroger's and Plaquemines Parish School Board, are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at St Patrick Catholic Church, 28698 Hwy 23., Port Sulphur LA. The visitation will begin at 8:30am and the mass will begin at 10:30am. Father Gerard P. Stapleton officiating and entombment will follow St Patrick Church Cemetery .
