Johnny (Pierce) Pierce

Johnny “John” Pierce Sr. departed this life on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at the age of 88. He was a lifelong resident of New Orleans, LA. Johnny was employed as a truck driver with Kass Bros and Barriere Construction Company.
Johnny is survived by his devoted wife of 44 years, Beverly Ann Wheeler-Pierce, one son, Johnny Pierce Jr., sister Janet P. Casimir, and brother James Ernest Pierce.
Relatives and friends of the family, members of Greater St. Mary Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of life services which will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at Fisher Community Church located at 1737 L.B. Landry Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70114. Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m., and the service will begin at 10 a.m. Bishop J. Nelson Brown officiating and interment will follow at Christian Social Cemetery in Gretna, LA.
Due to Covid – 19, facemasks are still encouraged.
