John Edward Harris III "Studda"

John Edward “Studda” Harris III, departed this life on Sunday, December 27, 2020, at University Hospital in New Orleans, LA.  He was 18 years old and was born on January 2, 2002.

He is the son of John Edward Harris, Jr. and Jamika Bass. Grandson of Gail Ruffin-Bass, Cynthia Jones, and John Edward (Nicole) Harris, Sr. Brother of Bria Bass and Jayaun Harris. Nephew of Ronald (Deshaun) Ruffin and John Chris Harris. Uncle of Christi’yaun Craig, Carter Scott, and Jaxon Harris. God-brother of Darius Growe.  He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.  John was preceded in death by grandfather, George Bass, Jr. and grandmother, Earl Lee Copper-Harris.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the celebration of life services on Saturday, January 9, 2021, at Greater Zionfield Family Worship Center located at 636 11th Street, Westwego, LA 70094 at 11 a.m.  The limited visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Pastor Samuel Travis officiating and interment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, in Gretna, LA. 

Due to COVID-19, EVERYONE in attendance MUST wear a facemask or other proper facial covering, and practice social distancing.
