Jessie John Spiers

Jessie John Spiers, 38, a resident of Marrero, LA, passed into eternal rest in the house that he helped make into a home, on Monday October 13, 2025. He was an avid fisherman who is now casting his line into that big fishing hole in the sky, where he has joined his dad and brother. Jess loved all things outdoors and loved spending his free time in his boat, "Skedaddle." His charismatic personality and beautiful smile will be missed by all who knew him.

Jess was a devoted and loving father to his baby girls, Chloe and Paisley, who he spoiled every chance he got. Cherished son of Lisa Borras and the late Kenneth Spiers, Jr. Adored brother of Lacey Gerdes (Shane), Stacie Spiers and the late Ken Spiers III. He left behind the best catch of his life, Christy Morvant and his bonus daughter, Baileigh. Uncle Jess to Lily, Mia and Dylan. Preceded in death by his grandparents, Johnny and Earline Borras and Kenneth and Ruth Spiers.
All who knew Jessie, knew they had a friend. He was a caring and kind soul and will be deeply missed.
Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. utill 1:00 p.m. at Saints Community Church 2001 Transcontential, Metairie, LA. Words of remembrance and memories will be shared at 12:00 p.m.
