Jeffery Allen Buras

Jeffery Allen Buras entered into eternal rest on November 20, 2023. He was 64 years old and a native of Boothville, LA. Son of the late Alvin Buras and Patricia Buras. Brother of Phyllis Buras (Shane), Lenora Seabrook (Terry), Laurie Crochet (Tony), Doug Buras, Michelle Rojas (Ricky) and Bridgett Franovich (Kirk) Uncle of Rock, Brandon, Brent, Mike, Matt, Trent, Kandace, Blake, Brooke, Nicole, Kim, Katie, Alaina, Paige, and Haylei.

Jeff spent most of his adult life working as a boat captain, driving trucks and commercial fishing. He loved being on the water, hunting and fishing. He enjoyed cooking and hanging out with friends. Jeff was very kind hearted and would help anyone in need. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Rest easy Jeffro.

Relatives and friends of the family also Jeffery's co-workers and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service which will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at Exceleration Church of Belle Chasse, La. Services will begin at 9:30 a.m. Scattering of ashes will take place at a future date.
