Jeanette Paz

Jeanette Hiza Paz, departed this life on Thursday, April 6, 2023, at her home in Gretna LA. She was 87 years old and a native of La Ceiba Honduras and a longtime resident of Gretna LA. Daughter of the late Lucas Hiza and Beatriz Martinez Hiza. Beloved wife of the late Jesus Paz. Devoted mother of Homer Paz, Odette Mejia (Marco), and Sohad Pineda (Ottoniel). Loving grandmother of Gabriel, Zachary and Ashleigh Paz, Chasity Mejia, Tracy Flanagan, Brigette Garcia, Kaffia Beaubouef, Brandon and Stephen Pineda. Mrs. Paz was predeceased by all ten of her siblings and is also survived by her great grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial mass on Monday, April 17, 2023, at Christ The King Catholic Church located 535 Deerfield Rd, Terrytown LA. 70056. Mass will begin at 9:30 a.m., and entombment will follow at Lake Lawn Metairie Cemetery 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. Metairie LA. 70124
