Javointay "Termite" Sylve

Javointay “Termite” Sylve departed this life unexpectedly on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at his home in Phoenix, LA.  He was 26 years old and was a native and lifelong resident of Phoenix, LA, and was employed with Turn Services. 

He is the son of Terry Sylve and the late Arnisea Miller Sylve.  He is the devoted and loving father of his one and only daughter Ja’Dore Izabella Sylve.  Brother of Tiffany, Chrisenthya, Shawndrayelle, Shawrelle, India, and D’Anjanique.  He is the fiancé of Jourdan Richardson.  Godfather of Naomi, D’Carlos, Kayceon, and Keiron Jr.  Javointay is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and devoted friends. 

Relatives and friends of the family, employees of Turn Services, Phoenix High School students and staff, officers and members of St. Joseph Baptist Church of Phoenix, LA., and all neighboring churches, are invited to attend the celebration of life services on Friday, January 22, 2021, at St. Joseph Baptist Church located at 156 St. Joseph Ln, Phoenix, LA., 70040, at 11 a.m.  The limited visitation will begin at 9 a.m.  Pastor Nadal Cosse’ officiating and entombment will follow at St. Joseph Baptist Church Cemetery. 

Due to COVID – 19, EVERYONE in attendance MUST wear a facemask or other proper facial covering and practice social distancing.
