Janiece Harvey

Janiece Trichelle Harvey was born March 23, 1978, and departed this life on Friday, April 21, 2023. Janiece was a 1997 graduate of Phoenix High School and an employee of the Orleans Parish Sheriff's Office. She would happily tell anyone she was 45 years old, followed by, "Don't I look Good?"

She is survived by her son, Jaron Narcisse, Jr., dad Orbon Tinson, Sr., in her words - the daddy, mom Sharon Tinson, sister Janae Tinson, brother Orbon Tinson, Jr., (Lashara Harvey), and devoted friend Jaron Narcisse, Sr. Janiece was referred to as TT by her nieces and nephews, Leilah Narcisse, Teagan Tinson, Brooklyn St. Cyre, Labrion Narcisse and Orbon Tinson, III. She was the God Mother of Kori Harris and Anais Hudson.
She leaves to mourn her aunts and uncles, Deborah Bartholomew (Michael), Sophie Sherman, Julie Harris, Barbara Harvey Reynolds (Charles), Danny DeMolle, Leonard DeMolle, Allen DeMolle, Sr. (DaVonya), Villere DeMolle, III, Garland Tinson, Trent Tinson, Sr. (Larissa), Nathan Harvey, Jr. (Yvonne), Dorothy Tinson, her God Mother Stephanie Duplessis, devoted cousins Shamere DeMolle and Darren Bartholomew, close friends, Garen Encalade, Preslyn Adams, Alicia Encalade, Janell Kelly, Raven Battle, Ajamu Page, Kylie Trufant and Terry Isidore as well as many others. She also leaves a big hole in the heart of her "firsties", Carmen's Cuties, Janiece was number 5 of 14 granddaughters.

Janiece was preceded in death by her father Tommy Lee Harvey. Her grandparents, Carmen DeMolle, Villere DeMolle Jr., Alice Harvey, Nathan Harvey, Sr., August Tinson and God Father Anthony Manual.

Relatives and friends of the family also, the alumni and staff of Phoenix High School, Plaquemines, Orleans & Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Offices and Securitas are all invited to attend the Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at St. Thomas Catholic Church located at 17605 Hwy. 15, Pointe-a-la-Hache, LA 70082. The visitation will begin at 9 a.m., and Mass will begin at 11 a.m. Father Sampson Abduli officiating, and entombment will follow at St. Thomas Catholic Church Cemetery.
