Janice Bell Cotton

Janice Cotton, born to James and Annie B. Bell, July 31, 1944, she departed this life on March 29, 2025, at her home in Harvey, La. She was 80 years old. She was the second of three daughters.
She was a native of New Orleans and Harvey, LA. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School. She was employed by Winn - Dixie and Jefferson Parish School Board.

The loving Mother of Arevia, Yvette, John, Ira, and the Late Tyran Cotton. She is the sister of the Late Claudia Bell Cobb and Rhonda Olivier. She was the wife of the late Rev. John W. Cotton. She is survived by 4 Children, 13 Grand Children, 10 Great Children, 1 Sister, 1 Sister-in-law, and a host
of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives, and friends.

Relatives and Friends of the family also employees of Winn - Dixie and Jefferson Parish School Board System are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Second Zion Baptist Church #1, 2929 Second Street, New Orleans, La., April 11, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m., until 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Restlawn Park Cemetery in Avondale, LA.
