James Bentley

James Bentley, age 81, passed away on Friday, December 20, 2024 in Louisville Kentucky. He was as Army Veteran and a retired mechanic for the Louisville Fire Dept Shop.
He was preceded in death by his children David and Dawn Bentley and his siblings Leo, Leona, Beverly, Betty, Sandra, Cynthia and Linda.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Lisa Bentley, James O. Bentley(Lamika), Keith Napier (Holly), and Shonetta Lewis; his siblings, Sidney Bentley (Audrey), Diane Bienemy (Rudy), Brenda Henry (Leo) and Pamela Bentley;9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation on Friday, January 3, 2025 at St. John Baptist Church located at 136 St. John Lane, Phoenix LA. 70040. The visitation will begin at 11AM and the burial with Military Honors will immediately follow at St. Joseph Baptist Church Cemetery. Pastor Romell E. Griffin officiating.
