Isabella Morgan Obituary
Isabella Grace Elisheva Zipporah (Morgan) born on March 3, 1998. She was a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of Belle Chasse. She entered eternal peace on
September 20, 2022. She fought a courageous battle against Ewing's Sarcoma and Acute Myeloid Leukemia with grace and dignity for 1,397 days.
Isabella had a true heart for organizing activism and art. Before her illness, she dedicated her life to activism, standing in solidarity with oppressed and marginalized communities. She loved world geography. She could point out any country on the map and educate one about those countries indigenous people, their culture, and their spiritual practices. She was a published writer in several publications and had her art on display at various shows. She was a tried-and-true comrade to those who knew her and loved her.
She was the only child of her beloved mother and caregiver, Sabrina Ataloa Morgan. The only grandchild to her dearest grandparent's Rev. Eddie Morgan and Cassie Shatoska Morgan. Great granddaughter of Mary Lucille Shatoska. The niece of Debbie Rogers. She's also survived by her best friend and comrade Casey Resto, Allenagh Lumsden and Venus (Caitlin) Marie. Also, her cherished cat's Peru and Persia.
She's proceeded in death by her nanny, Sheri Elizabeth and her great grandfather Henry Curtis Shatoska.
A sincere thank you to all the nurses and staff at Ochsner Children's Hospital. A very special thanks to her extraordinary Pediatric Oncologist Dr. Craig Lotterman. Her precious nurse Jennifer Diamond and her amazing social worker Kara Katz (Levine).
