Herbert Lee Foster

On Monday, June 5th, 2023, Herbert Lee Foster Jr., a native of New Orleans, Louisiana passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home, at the age of 61.

He is survived by his wife, Vivian Foster, his children, Sheena Foster, Chantel Foster-Belona (Ronnie Sr.), Christian Foster, Tamara Foster, his grandchildren, Rayne K. Nelson, Keyanni Belona, and Ronnie Belona Jr., His parents, Paul and Marion Eugene, his siblings, Susie Foster-Harrison (Myron), Paul Eugene Jr, Harold Eugene (Tiffany), Kelvin Wilson, Samantha Carey (James-Ferd), Dwayne Love (Tamika). Brother in laws, Jeffery Williams and Stephon Williams. He is proceeded in death by his father, Herbert Lee Foster Sr., In-laws Robert and Irene Williams, sister in law Glenda Eugene, Grandparents, Leslie and Susie Jackson, and Henry and Audrey Foster, niece Quiana Eugene.

Herbert was a member of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church - New Orleans, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life service which will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at First Free Mission Baptist Church, located at 426 Lamarque Street, Algiers, LA 70114. The visitation will begin at 8 a.m., and the service will begin at 10 a.m. Pastor Dudley Watson is officiating and entombment will follow at McDonoughville Cemetery in Gretna.
