HORTANCIA BORDEN SYLVE Obituary

HORTANCIA CECILIA “CECILE” BORDEN SYLVE, passed away at her home on Wednesday April 29, 2020 at the age of 75.  She leaves to cherish her memories, her children Curtis Sylve (Terry) and Marty Sylve (Laurie); her three grandchildren, Agnes Holmes, Nikki Bartholomew Duncan (Brent) and Craig Bartholomew (Tori Lynn), her great grandchildren; Amani, Jayden, Nicholas, and Karsen, her siblings; Stanley “Tunie” Borden (Shelia), Laura Mae Borden and Mina Sylve (Angelo), sisters and brothers in law; Janet Sylve, Josephine Brooks, Nelson Sylve (Shirline), Michael Sylve Sr. (Doris), Adam Sylve (Joyce), Carroll and Emmette Sylve.  She also leaves her best friends Frances Landry and Sarah Sylve, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousin and friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband Morris “Flash” Sylve, children; Morris Christopher, Timothy and Maria Sylve, her parents; Stanley Borden and Lucille Phillips Borden and siblings Benny Borden, Irma Landry, Inez Ancar, Diane Barthelemy, Evelyn Borden and Marline Ancar, her in laws; Morris “PK” Sylve Sr. and America Marie Sylve , brother and sister in law; Clarence Sylve Sr. and Mary Jane Duplessis.

A memorial service for Cecile will be held at a date to be announced by her children.  You prayers and well wishes are deeply appreciated.
