Gloria Batteau

Gloria Batteau passed away peacefully at Touro Hospital on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at the young age of 83. She was a native and lifelong resident of New Orleans La. Gloria was full of life, a strong witness for Christ, and an active member of her church, Cross Culture Community Church where she was loved and adored by all. She will be sorely missed but never forgotten.

 She is survived by her best friend and her spouse Joni and Elston Ramie and all of her dear friends at Cross Culture Community Church along with her neighbors, other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Rosemary Nixon Batteau and Robert Batteau, a sister and her  ex-spouse Sandy whom she loved dearly.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend her  Homegoing Service on Friday August 17, 2018 at 10:00am at Cross Culture Community Church located at 5900 Paris Ave. New Orleans La.  Visitation will begin at 9am. Pastor Troy Gause officiating Interment will follow at St. Louis #3 Cemetery 3421 Esplanade Ave In New Orleans.
