George Jude Ragas Jr. departed this life on Thursday, October 12th, 2023 at the age of 44. He was a native of Port Sulphur LA., and a resident of Westwego, Louisiana.
Beloved son of Valeria Carlita Ragas Harris (late Bryant Robinson) and George Jude Ragas Sr. (Lorraine Ragas). Devoted husband of Kendrea Nichon Mitchell Ragas. Father of Maja Ragas (Kesean Fowler), Ariana Ragas (Jalen Benn) and Alaya Ragas (Daniel LaCour Sr). Stepfather of Markell Mitchell (Dakota Demolle). Grandfather of Aviahna Fowler, Jalen Benn Jr., Daniel LaCour Jr and Jhett Mitchell. Brother of Tussin Ragas, Kody Francois, Sherryonda Ragas (Terrence Jones),Jasmine Ragas (Shannon Clausen)and the late Enrique Ragas. Grandson of Margarite Lafrance Ragas and the late August Blanche Ragas Sr. and the late Walter Ragas Sr. and Phoebe Ragas. Son in law of Debra Mitchell. Brother in law of Trent Mitchell and Elijah Mitchell (Kristie). Godson of Ellery Ragas and Medora Brooks. George is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and devoted friends.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at Greater Macedonia Baptist Church located at 27796 LA-23, Port Sulphur LA. 70083. The visitation will begin at 9AM followed by a 11AM service. Pastor Mandrell Pansy Sr. will officiate. Interment will be private.
