Evelyn Walker

Evelyn Gertrude Tinson Walker was born at Charity Hospital in New Orleans, La on January 26, 1930, to the union of the late Joseph Pickens Tinson and Gertrude Moran Tinson. She departed this life on the morning of June 1, 2023, at Passages Hospice in New Orleans, LA.
Evelyn was the eldest of seven children: Lillian Tinson, Alma (Harding) Taylor, Elaine (Linaker) Cartwright, Joseph Tinson, Calvin (Beverly) Tinson, and Norwood Tinson.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, two sons, three sisters, and baby brother.
Our Queen leaves to cherish her loving memory; her daughters Pamela Hall and Denise Walker, grandchildren Clint (Karen), Errol II (Mallory), Curtis, Zenovia, Troy, Cicely (Talton), Chasite (Tyrus), Sequoia, Dominque, Cedric II, SHILESE, sixteen great- grandchildren, her Godchildren Jackie Picquet, Nedra May and amongst a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation which will be held on Friday, June 30, 2023, at Robinson Family Funeral Home 9611 LA - 23, Belle Chasse, LA 70037, from 5 - 7 p.m. Funeral services & burial will take place on July 14, 2023, in Los Angelas, Ca.
