EVELINA “LENE” SHELBY GREEN, a native of Raceland LA. and a resident of Belle Chasse LA., passed away quietly on Friday, September 17, 2021.

Evelina is survived by her sisters Barbara Nash (Wilfred), Ethel Harrison (Cleve), Albertha Turner and Beatrice Williams (Alton); nieces Jacqueline Gullage, Melissa Nash, and Lauren Nash; nephews Keith Jones, Kevin Turner and Kendall Jones; and a host of other relatives and friends who loved, cherished and will always remember her feisty and fun-loving spirit.
Evelina was preceded in death by her parents Albertha Turner and Hosey Shelby Sr., stepfather Douglas Turner; sister Linda Turner; brothers Eugene Shelby, Nolan Shelby, Joseph Shelby, Richard Turner and Hosey Shely Jr. and grandparents Ethel and Henry Williams.

Private goodbyes are planned for close family members.
