Eugene Duplessis

Eugene "Ski" Duplessis, Jr. was born August 13, 1960, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He departed this life Friday, July 7, 2023. He was the son of Eugene Duplessis, Sr., and the Late Louise Johnson Duplessis. Beloved Father of Aiesha (Beonka) Duplessis, Brother of Everett (Valerie) Duplessis, Uncle of Bailey and Jordan Duplessis and Justin Brown. Nephew of Joycelyn J. Johnson, Isabelle "Melvina" J. Sias, Eckard (Catherine) Johnson, Jr., Jean J. Miller (Leon) Hurst, Doris Johnson, Lois (Philmor) Solomon, Kevin Dillard, and Antoine Duplessis, Sr. Ski was a former All- American Football Player. He was employed by the Plaquemines Parish School Board, a job which he loved and thought no one could do it like he did. Ski is also survived by a host of family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services honoring The Life and Legacy of Eugene "Ski" Duplessis, Jr. in The Chapel of Robinson Family Funeral Home, 9611 Highway 23, Belle Chasse, LA 70037, on Saturday, July 15, 2023. The visitation will begin at 8:30am and the service will follow at 10:00am. Interment Oakville Cemetery, Belle Chasse, LA. 70037. No viewing after 10A.M. Pastor Romell Griffin Pastor of the St. John Missionary Baptist Church of Phoenix LA. will officiate.
