Edwin Irvin Williams Sr. was born on February 9th, 1942, the 11th of 13 children to Ruth Kendrick Williams and Theodore Williams Sr. He departed this life on March 2nd 2022, at Touro Infirmary Hospital in New Orleans, LA.

He lived and worked in New Orleans most of his life and shared a loving caring family life with his wife and 2 children.

Left to cherish his memory are his 3 brothers, Theodore Jr, David Henry, Walter L. Williams, 3 sisters Margaret C. Williams, Vera Alexander and Patricia McDermott, and a host of other relatives who will sadly miss him.

His wife is the late Rita Geneva Williams, who worked at Charity Hospital for many years. He is preceded in death by his parents Ruth and Theodore Williams Sr. Children Edwin Jr, and Edwina Denise Williams, 6 siblings, Theodora Vincent (Henry), Ruth Young (Robert), Audrey Lois, James, and Maurice Williams.

Funeral services and burial for Mr. Williams were privately held.
