Edmond Wilson Ragas Jr. "Wes", entered into eternal rest on Friday September 26, 2025, at his home in Port Sulphur LA. at the age of 68. He was the son of the late Edmond Wilson Ragas Sr. and the late Albertine Gibson Ragas. Beloved brother of Olibra Magee (Jerry), Eric Ragas Sr. (Vanessa), Jonathan Ragas (Christy), John Ragas Sr. (Monica), and the late Shelia Turner (Frederick deceased), Lori Ann Turner and Dianne Agnes Ragas. He was a brother figure to Serena Ann Gibson. He was a father figure to Cierra Gabriel. Devoted uncle of Frederick Turner Jr., Amanda Turner (Rob), Shannon Mackey (Otis), Nelson C. Williams III (Angelle), Trevor S. Williams Sr. (Trekira), Jamie Scott (Lionel Jr.), Jerilyn Magee Rogers (Eric), Mariah A. Magee, Eric James Jr. (Kristen), Vania and Eric Joseph Ragas, Albertine Stephens (Naquarius), Breck Turner (Jessica), Vincent Turner Jr. Cajuana Jackson, Jonathan Scott, Kenneth Parker (Jasmine), Dasia Ragas , Devin Badeaux , Brittany Johnson (Robert) John Jr. and Blake R Ragas. Wes was a prominent figure in the lives of his many great nieces and nephews and shared a special bond with them all. He was a retired employee of Daybrook Fisheries for 30 years and was a proud Dallas Cowboys fan.

Relatives and friends of the family and employees of Daybrook Fisheries, are invited to attend the funeral service on Friday October 3, 2025, at St. Patrick Catholic Church 28698 LA-23, Port Sulphur LA. 70083. The visitation will begin at 9AM followed by an 11AM mass. Father Lawrence Murori will officiate, and interment will follow in Barthelemy Cemetery in Diamond LA.
