Dorothy Rosemore Hunter affectionally known as Dear was the third child born to the late Paul Rosemore and Ellen Hicks Batiste on January 15, 1934, in Marrero, LA. As a member, she served on the Usher Board until she later moved her membership to Second Good Shephard Missionary Baptist Church in New Orleans, LA., under the leadership of the late Reverend Junior Hunter. On June 20, 1953, Dorothy was wed to her loving, dedicated, and faithful companion, the late Brother Clarence Hunter, Sr. for fifty-three years.
