Dina Annette (Miller) Francis

DINA ANNETTE MILLER FRANCIS, affectionately known as “Kimmie”, transitioned to her Heavenly Home on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at West Jefferson Medical Center in Marrero.  She was 50 years old and was a native of New Orleans LA., and a resident of Harvey La.  She was educated in Orleans and Jefferson Parish schools and was a 1989 graduate of O. Perry Walker High school before moving on to study at the University Of New Orleans.  Dina accepted Christ as a child and was baptized by Pastor Norman Francis at the St. Stephens Baptist Church in New Orleans.  In 2011 she made the First Emmanuel Baptist Church of Gretna (BCOG) under the leadership of Pastor Dolhman Brown Sr. her home where she was a faithful choir member.

Dina is the beloved daughter of Juanita Miller and Robert Bradley.  Devoted wife of 27 years to Keith Dwayne Francis Sr.  Loving mother of Steven “Stevie” and A’Keitra “Keke” Francis.  Stepmother of Julia Lucas, LaKeisha (Cedric) Smith and Keith Francis Jr.  Sister of Debra (Don) Davis, Ruthie (Michael) Thompson and Malisa (Edward Jr.) Gilds.  Daughter in law of Victoria G. Francis and the late Patricia and Sidney Francis.  Sister in law of Anita (Ron) Sanders, Kala (Kevin) Mitchell, Nadia Brown, Nicole Carr, Charlene Landry, Sedwick (Carmen) Brown and Dwan Francis.  Goddaughter of Robert and Doris Kaigler.  Godmother of Brittney Jones, Myisha Growe and Tyler Butler.  She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and devoted friends.  She wad predeceased by her grandparents Stephen and Ruth Miller and P.C. and Earna Ray Bradley and her nephew Bryant kai Growe.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at St. Stephen Baptist Church located at 1738 L B Landry Ave, New Orleans LA. 70114.  The visitation will begin at 8A.M. followed by at 10A.M. service. Dr. Norman Francis is the host pastor and Pastor Dolhman Brown Sr. will officiate.  Entombment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery 3540 US-90, Avondale LA. 70094.

Due to COVID-19 EVERYONE in attendance is required to wear a facemask or other proper facial covering.
