Dianne Agnes Ragas, entered into eternal rest to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 14, 2024 on Mother's Day, at Riverbend Nursing and Rehabilitation in Belle Chasse, La. She was 68 years old and a native of Port Sulphur, La. Dianne was born on November 23, 1955 to the late Edmond Wilson, Sr. and Albertine Gibson Ragas. She is the beloved mother of Shannon Williams Mackey (Otis), Nelson Clarence Williams III. (Angelle), Trevor Scott Williams, Sr., (Trekira), Jamie Marie Nickerson Scott (Lionel), the late James Nickerson Jr. (Shativa) and a devoted mother figure to Percy Parker. She is the sister of Edmond W. Ragas, Jr., Olibra Ragas Magee (Jerry, Jr.), Eric James Ragas, Sr. (Vanessa), Jonathan Keith Ragas (Christy), John Kennedy Ragas, Sr. (Monica), sister figure to Serena Ann Gibson and sister to the late Sheila Marie Ragas (the late Frederick, Sr.) and Lori Ann Ragas Turner (Vincent). She is survived by 29 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, Aunts Mary Laura Gibson, Lela Gibson Sylve, Josephine Gibson and Willie Mae Gibson, Brother in Law Charles Williams (Jill) nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Relatives and friends of the family, also Riverbend Nursing and Rehabilitation and Harmony Hospice are invited to attend the Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 28698 Highway 23, Port Sulphur, La. 70083 at 10:30 a.m. Visitation from 8:30 a.m until 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Mount Zion Cemetery in Empire, LA.
