Derrick Joseph Johnson Sr., departed this life on Thursday November 17, 2022 in Baton Rouge LA. He was 45 years old and a native and lifelong resident of New Orleans LA.

Son of the late Aaron and Lovenia Cotton Johnson. Father of Derrick Joseph Johnson Jr. and Derinisha Wilfred. Brother of Michael Jackson, Vera Wilson, Gelinda Cotton, Demtrist Cotton, Samantha Magee, Aaron Johnson Jr., Denise Harris, Troy Johnson, Nicole Johnson, Mark Johnson, Chene Johnson, Daniel Johnson and the late Debra Cotton and Gregory Cotton. Derrick is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousin, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service which will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at Robinson Family Funeral Home located at 9611 LA - 23, Belle Chasse, LA 70037. The visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m., and the service will begin at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Restlawn Park Cemetery in Avondale, LA.

Due to Covid - 19, facemasks are still encouraged.
