Demetrius Johns of New Orleans departed this life on Sunday, February 26, 2023. He was 27 years old and a native of New Orleans.
Beloved son of Stephanie Johns and Jerome Sadler. Father of D'Hani Thornsberry, Ur'Hyness Johns, Journie Johns and Ya'Majestee Thornsberry. Brother of Stephanie Johns, Jessica Johns, Anthony Johns, the late Alanie Johns, Jasmine Thompson, Judah Sadler, India Sadler, Destiny Sadler, Jay'Lanie Sadler, Dey' Lanie Sadler, Chesney Sadler, Jace Sadler, Joshua Reed, Jayda Delone, Jaquan Delone, Loyality Reed, Caniya Sadler and Ja'Royah Sadler. He is the grandson of Angela Cannon, the late Jerry Sadler and the late Lula Mae Johns.
He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews, cousins, other relatives, and devoted friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the celebration of life service which will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at Robinson Family Funeral Home 9611 LA - 23, Belle Chasse, LA 70037. The visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m., and the service will begin at 12 noon. Reverend Anthony Ruffin officiating, and interment will be private.
