Deianca Jones Henry

Deianca Jones Henry departed this life on Sunday, May 21, 2023 at Slidell Memorial Hospital 6 days shy of her 55th birthday. She was a native and lifelong resident of Algiers LA.

Daughter of the late William and Beulah Blackwell Jones. Devoted wife of Glen Edward Henry. Beloved mother of Diandra Walker (Thomas), Dajanae and Adeja Jones. Grandmother of Dajon Jones, Tamaz Walker, Taylah Walker, Tyler Walker, Aulani Hawkins and Eran Hawkins. Sister of Damone and Daward Jones. Niece of Beatrice Williams (Alvin), Ella Blackwell Riley (John), Janice Blackwell, and Samuel Blackwell. She was predeceased by her parents, grandmother Sarah B. Blackwell, aunt Jessie Elaine Brown and uncle Arthur Blackwell Jr. Deianca is also survived by nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins, other relatives and devoted friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at Robinson Family Funeral Home located at 9611 LA-23, Belle Chasse LA. 70037. The visitation will begin at 10AM followed by a 11AM service. Pastor Francois will officiate and interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Avondale LA.
