David McMasters Obituary
YNCS (Ret.) David M. McMasters, a proud veteran of the United States Navy, passed away peacefully in his sleep on June 7, 2024. YNCS(AW) David M. McMasters In June 1976 he enlisted as a Seaman Recruit in the United States Navy. He valued this service highly and attained the rank of Senior Chief Petty Officer in 1996 and completed the Senior Enlisted Academy in 1998.
He received his Bachelor of Business degree in 1999 from Northwood University. As part of this service, he was authorized to wear the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal and received a number of campaign and service awards. YNCS(AW) David M. McMasters is survived by numerous family and friends. His loved ones will remember his love of the New Orleans Saints, all things Mardi Gras and above all his sense of humor.
A memorial service honoring his life was held on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at the Chapel of the Good Shepherd on NAS JRB New Orleans, Louisiana.
