Damion Travis Daniel departed this life at Ochnser Medical Center on January 23, 2026 at the age of 47 . Damion was born August 22,1978 in New Orleans, LA. to the late Loretta Daniel Wilson (late Oliver Wilson), and the late Bernard Thomas. He attended school in St. John Parish, LA. Damion accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church by the late Rev. Jerry Henry.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Loretta Daniel-Wilson; step-father, Oliver Wilson; father, Bernard Thomas; grandmother, Bessie Section; Grandfather J.C. Daniel; great grandmother, Ida Moore and great grandfather, Daniel Webb, uncle, Glen Section; nephew Jalen Daniel. He leaves to cherish his memories: his beloved siblings; Minister Furnell Daniel, Katrena Daniel, Tiffany Daniel, Chauard Daniel, Dorrette Bickham, Bernard Thomas, Delores Thomas, Rose Thomas, Sybil Thomas, Vincent Thomas, Anthony Thomas, Jeremiah Thomas, Gregory Thomas, Jacquline Populars and Felicia Boss; lifelong friend, Herbert Banks; aunts, Irene Green, Thea Green (Arthur); uncles, Ricky, Gus and Andrew Section, and J.C. Daniel; nieces, Claudia Ricketts, Savaria Kelly, Juresia Daniel, Ryjiane Jones, Gabriella Daniel; great nieces, Ciara Lyons, Dane and Mila Kelly; nephews, Shamar Green, Ryjohn Jones, Furnell Daniel Jr., Travon, Davon and Danny Francois, Jasiah Simmons, and Elijah Daniel; and a host of other family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Robinson Family Funeral Home 9611 LA-23, Belle Chasse LA. The visitation will begin at 9AM followed by a 10AM service. Interment will be private.
