Da'Janay Monique Howard was born on September 14, 2000, in New Orleans LA., and departed this life suddenly at her home in Baton Rouge LA., on Saturday, January 3, 2026.

Da'Janay was born without sight and never developed the ability to verbally communicate but the joy, love, laughter and comfort she brought to her family will never be forgotten.

Beloved daughter of Alicia Monique Green. Loving sister of Brian Connor, Alena Marie and Laiven Yosef. Granddaughter of Sandra Green and the late Gene Bentley. Great granddaughter of the late Leola May Green, Joseph Wilson, and Barbara Jean Rankins. great- great granddaughter of the late Alma and Ramon Gabriel and Augustine Germaine Lewis. Goddaughter of the late Deneitra Ruffin. Da'Janay is also survived by her uncle Dwight Green, her niece Anaya Hewitt and a whole tribe of first cousins and friends who loved her dearly.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Robinson Family Funeral Home 9611 LA.-23, Belle Chasse, LA. 70037.

The visitation will begin at 9:30AM followed by 11AM service. Minister Sheryl Green will officiate. Interment will be private.
