Cynthia Elizabeth Hingle Dinet

Cynthia Elizabeth Hingle Dinet, age 67, was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 3rd, 2025. She was born on July 12, 1958 in Buras, Louisiana to her parents, Lois Denesse Hingle and Jules "Sammy" Hingle.

Cynthia devoted her life to family and embodying a spirit of love that will be missed by those who knew her. She carried many titles in her lifetime, a beloved mother, daughter, godmother, aunt, but most importantly "Gram". She retired from Plaquemines Parish School Board after 30 years of service. Cynthia spent her days living life to the fullest, opening her home and heart to friends, family and even strangers. She found her greatest joy in giving her time, love and energy to her beloved grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

Cynthia is survived by multiple family members, including her mother Lois Hingle, her sister Vickie Prout, brother in law Rollen Prout, twin daughters Tynia Gaines and Rachell Murray, son in laws Marquel Gaines and Eugene Del Murray III, and all six of her grandchildren, Juliana, Kainnen, Marquel Jr., Hazel, Khalid and Gia. She is also survived by multiple nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her late husband, Jonathan Michael Dinet and sisters Anastasia Taylor (Benjamin) and Elisa Lightell (Michael).

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 16th, 2025 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 8968 LA-23, Belle Chasse, LA 70037. Visitation will begin at 10:00AM with mass following at 11:00AM. Father Kyle Dave will officiate. Entombment will be held at Our Lady of Good Harbor Cemetery, 35736-35748 Hwy 11, Buras, LA 70041.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to all who have offered prayers, love and support during this time. Though she will be deeply missed, Cynthia's love, generosity and joyful spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
