Clence Lindsey departed this life on Tuesday, September 26th, 2023, at West Jefferson Medical Center in Marrero, La. He was 73 years old and aresident of McDonoghville - Gretna, La. He retired from Service Masters. Son of the late Lula Mae Lindse and Albet Bellvie Sr.
Devoted Spouse of the late Rose Lindsey, Lovely Lindsey and Lynette Zanders Lindsey. Father of Crandell (April) Lindsey, Mark (Leslie) Lindsey, Rose Lindsey, Kevin Anderson, Steve Zanders, Lawayna Penns, Lynell Zanders, Willie Zanders, Wilfret Zanders, Dianne Jones, and the late Calandall Lindsey, Prescious Lindsey, and Juan Zanders. Brother of Syivera Lindsey, Barbara Lindsey, Vieronica Lindsey and Tyrone Lindsey. Uncle Joe Lindsey, Aunts Donner West Catherine, Ruby, Juanta and Georgia.

He is also survived by a his grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his siblings, Carrie Lindsey, Althea LIndsey, and Albert Bellvie Jr. Grandparents, Gillie and Isaac Lindsey, and Uncle Donald Lindsey.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service which will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at Fisher Community Church located at 1737 L.B. Landry Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70114. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m., and the service will begin at 10 a.m. Bishop James Nelson Brown will officiate and interment will be private.

The repast will be held at OJ Dunn Lodge and Masonic Hall located at 1100 Cook St. Gretna, La 70053.
