Claude Taplette, Sr.

Claude Levi Taplette Sr was born on October 25, 1952, to the union of Chester Arthur Taplette Sr and Esther Della Charles Taplette. He departed this life on Thursday, February 5th, 2026, at East Jefferson General Hospital. He was 73 years old.

He accepted Christ upon the confession of his faith at an early age and was baptized at Fairview Baptist Church in New Orleans, LA.
He received his education in the Orleans School District where he attended George W. Carver High School in 1970. He received his CDL at International Driving School. Claude work for J.B. Hunt Trucking Company, Marriott Hotel, Charity Hospital, Le Richelieu Hotel, Royal Sonesta Hotel and he was a Painter/Drywall Sheetrock Finisher.
Claude Levi Taplette Sr was preceded in death by his parents Chester Taplette Sr and Esther Della Charles Taple4tte and his brothers George "Butch" Taplette Sr, Ronald Taplette Sr, Chester Taplette, Percy Taplette, Arnold Michael Taplette, Patrick Eugene Taplette Jr and Chester Arthur Taplette Jr.
He leaves everlasting memories to his beloved wife Adrienne Payne Taplette. Their union produced a son, Claude Taplette Jr and daughter Crystal Taplette. He also leaves to cherish his memories, four grandchildren, Calia, Cheyenne, Calis and Kyla Taplette and two brothers, Donald and Curley Taplette.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial service which will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Robinson Family Funeral Home 9611 La -23, Belle Chasse, LA 70037. Services will begin at 11 a.m., Reverend Johnny Byrd officiating and interment will be private.
