Clarence Rose Sr. was born July 21, 1940, in Napolenville, La., to the late Southern and Daisy's Rose (Nee Spencer). Clarence was the youngest of 9 children. Clarence moved to New Orleans in 1959, with his ex-wife Joyce Harrison. In their union they were blessed with four children. Joycelyn Leonard, (Allen), Patricia Rose Anderson (Kenneth), Clarence Rose Jr., (Cheryl) and The late Deborah Hills, (Warren). Clarence Rose Sr. later United with Nellie Rose Fleming and that union blessed them with six children. Brenda Washington (Deon), Colleen Lewis, (Xavier), Gail Fleming, Sandra Ratliff (Rodney), Derrick Fleming (Bernice), and Nicole Fleming, (Orlando). Clarence Rose Sr., also leaves to mourn a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephew, cousins and friends. Clarence Sr. Worked at Dickeys Potato Chip Company for many years. Upon leaving Dickeys Potato Chip Co., he became a self-employed carpenter/ painter, until his health began to decline. Dad loved his children whole heartily. Clarence, our Dad, was loved by many people dearly and he expressed and delivered love right back. He was a man with a pure heart. (Matthew 5:8). He shared the love of Jesus with everyone and kept GOD on his mine all the time. Every time you meet him or come in his presence, he would greet you with , "GOD BLESS YOU "and then offer more words of blessings and a peppermint candy. To GOD BE THE GLORY! He is preceded in death by his parents, (4) sisters (4) brothers, (1) daughter, and (1) grandson . He leaves to cherish his precious memories with all of his family in which he loved.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the celebration of life service which will be held on Wednesday August 7, 2024, at Robinson Family Funeral Home 9611 LA - 23 , Belle Chasse, LA 70037. Visitation will begin at 9:30 and services will begin at 11 a.m. Elder Allen Leonard will officiate and interment will be private.
