CHANA RAYETTE WILLIAMS, departed this life peacefully on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at Capital House Rehabilitation Center in Baton Rouge La. She was 53 years old and was a native of East Point Ala Hache La. and was a resident of Hammond La.
Daughter of the late Joseph Louis “Charlie” Picquet and the late Ruby Mary Encalade Picquet. Beloved mother of Latoshi, Maurice (Freddie), Alexis, Rio (Demetria), Tremayne, Riana, Megan, Lashae, Johann, Camri and Lexie. Loving sister of Millicent (Kermit), Malcolm (Monty), Dorrie (Jerry), Corey (Leslie), Chris (Tasha), Craig (Ginori), Sabrina (Petoe), Korbe (Melanie), Elgin, Kimbaly, Jamie, Joseph Jr., Neely, Cassie, Quida and the late Cassandra, Amanda, Dedra, Marcia and Kizzy. Grandmother of Jamir, Zyandria, Honesty, Sariah, Rob, Jayda, Rionna, Gizell, Tremiya, Taliyah, Trevon, Aubrey, Johnneke, Unique, Zayden, Kaiden, Cayless and Skyy.
Also left to cherish Chana’s memories and celebrate her life are several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and devoted friends that loved her dearly.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday May 1, 2021 at St. Thomas Catholic Church located at 17605 Hwy 15, Point Ala Hache La 70082 beginning at 11A.M. The viewing will begin at 9A.M. Father Sampson Abduli will officiate and entombment will follow in the church’s cemetery.
