Chad Michael Trahan Jr., departed this life peacefully on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at his home in Westwego, LA., at the age of 22. He was born on October 14, 2002 in Gretna LA. Beloved son of Janell Ann Garcia and Chad Michael Trahan. Chad Michael was also deeply loved by his number one bonus parents and dedicated nurse, Betty Taylor and her husband Aaron. He is the loving stepson of Nicole Trahan and Lenny Guidroz. He was the best brother in the world to Gavin Guidroz (Bella), Savanna, Chloe and Kye Trahan. Grandson of Karen and George Anderson Jr., Philip and Rhonda Garcia, Donald and Linda Trahan, Elaine Melford Doucet and Kary Doucet (Jodie). Great grandson of Carolyn Boudreaux and Howard Hinton. Godson of Justin Garcia, Jessica Favaloro and Jessie James . Chad was preceeded in death by his favorite aunt, Michelle Boudreaux and several other aunts, uncles, grand and great grandparents.
Chad Michael is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Our beloved superhero Chad Michael was always happy and always had a smile on his face that would light up any room. He had incredible inner strength and was loved by so many people. We Thank God for 22 wonderful years of tremendous joy and happiness. We will always love you Chad Michael, and you will always be the light inside of us.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Robinson Family Funeral Home located at 9611 LA-23, Belle Chasse, LA. 70037. The public visitation will begin at 11AM followed by a 12 noon service. Rev. Rodney Blanchard will officiate and entombment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery 1225 Whitney Ave, Gretna LA.
Chad Michael's family would like to express their deepest love and appreciation to Egan-Oschner Health Care (especially Stephanie Melancon), VACP at Children Hospital (espically Kristine Miller), Johnny and Judith Shaddinger and his number one fan J.R. Chiasson as well as his aunt and uncle Kirk and Rhonda Richard for their love and care bestowed upon Chad Michael. Your acts of kindness will never be forgotten.
