Cassie Lace Picquet "Cat" entered eternal life on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at the age of 39. She was born on May 17, 1984, in Port Sulphur LA. and was a resident of New Orleans LA. Beloved daughter of Mary (Lisa) Picquet and the late Joseph Picquet Sr. Loving mother of Elton Ragas Jr. (Jimmeva), Essence Ragas and Ethan Ragas. Grandmother of Ja'Kylah and Ja'Mir Gastinell and Eliyanna Ragas. Godmother of Brandon Encalade Jr. Raymoni and Raynaij Martin. Estranged wife of Elton Raymond Ragas Sr. Devoted companion of Norman Butler. Beloved sister of Millicent Narcisse, Dorrie Picquet, Cory Picquet, Christopher Harvey, Craig Harvey, Sabrina Ragas (Peto), Korbe Barthelemy (Melaine), Kimbely Barthelemy, Elgin Dennis, Jamie Picquet, Joseph Picquet Jr. (Monique), Neely Sanders (Lonzell), Quida Picquet (Trent), and the late Cassandra, Dedra Kizzy, Marcia, Amanda, Chana and Malcolm Picquet. Cassie is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and devoted friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Robinson Family Funeral Home 9611 LA-23, Belle Chasse LA. 70037. The visitation will begin at 9AM followed by a 11AM service. Pastor Elroy Mackey will officiate, and entombment will follow in Barthelemy Cemetery in Diamond LA.
