Obituary
Casey Rene' Duncan departed this life peacefully in her mother's arms, on Friday, July 14, 2023, at Ochsner Hospital Westbank. She was 27 years old.
Beloved daughter of Quila Encalade, Mark Duncan, and Michelle (MeMe) Bickham. Loving sister of Marquia, India, and Mar'Kiyah Duncan, Shane Bickham, Naja Barthelemy and Shayla Picquet. Granddaughter of Gwendolyn Adams, Mancil (Mary) Duncan Sr., Lydwina Hurst, Thomesa Bibbins and the late Melvin Bibbins, Violet, and Michael Turner. Goddaughter of Lanera Cosse' and Chadwick Encalade.
Casey is also survived by a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her great grandparents.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial mass on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at St. Thomas Catholic Church located at 17605 La - 15, Pointe A La Hache, LA 70082. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m., followed by11 a.m., mass. Father Sampson Abduli will officiate the mass.
Flowers can be sent to St. Thomas Catholic Church or in lieu of flowers donations in Casey's name can be made to the Ronald McDonald House (rmhc-sla.org) or the Make A Wish Foundation (wish.org).
