Carrol Charles, Sr

Carrol Charles, Sr., a retired Welder and Truck Driver entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 24, 2023, at the age of 82. Carrol was affectionately known to his family and friends as "Ted" or "Big Daddy''. He is survived by his wife of over 38 years Carole V. Charles, his step-children, Timilon Williams, Sthaddeus Terrell, Alegri (Paul) Terrell-Brown, Caycee (Corey) Terrell-Vining, Jeanni (Mitchell) Taylor, and Johnney Terrell. His siblings, Anthony Charles, and Catherine Simon. He was the loving Paw Paw of Haileigh Pellerano, Tori and Erin Charles, and a host of other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Antione and Modest Charles, his son Carrol Charles, Jr. His siblings, Morris Charles, Norris Charles, Edward Charles, Calvin Charles, Sr., and Mary Ann Fields. His mother-in-law Lena Bell and husband O.C. Womack, and daughter-in-law Fenisha Charles.

Family and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life Mass at St. Andrew The Apostle Catholic Church, 3101 Eton St., New Orleans, LA 70131, on Monday, April 3, 2023, at 11:00 am. Rev. John F. Talamo, Jr. officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:30a.m.
