Carolyn Ann Clark-Fountain of Marrero LA., was born February 18, 1961, to Lawrence Clark, Sr. and Rosie Mathis Dillon. Her Christian journey began at an early age. She enjoyed going to Sunday school and singing in the youth choir. Her education was completed at Alice Foucher Senior High School. As she began to pursue her career, her passion landed her in Charity Hospital School of Nursing and Holy Cross College for nursing. Carolyn prided herself in working in various medical fields, at Ochsner Foundation, Chateau Notre Dame and the Acts Home Health Facility. She worked days and nights to provide for her children. She eventually had to make some unexpected changes when her daughter Brittany landed her another job as a crossing guard for 7 years at John Dilbert Elementary School. Just like some of us would say, not my child. Brittnay wasn't allowed to participate in any activities off the premises unless her mother was the chaperone Carolyn enjoyed dancing, cooking, decorating, dressing and being a care giver for any age. With that infectiousness laugh, she enjoyed having a good time. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. On Tuesday, February 17, 2026, Carolyn Ann Clark-Fountain received her wings to enter the Pearlie Gates. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Clark, Sr. and Rosie Mathis Dillon, sister Kim Rose Dillon Martin and Felecia Clark, 2 nieces, Kenyada Harris and Kiffany Butler, brothers Lawrence Clark IT, Gregory Clark, and Kevin Clark, sister, and nephews Larry Lewis, Jr. and Tyrell Washington.
