Carol Ann Henry Houston departed this life on Monday, June 3, 2024 at West Jefferson Medical Center, she was 59 years old. Carol Ann was a native of Marrero LA. and a resident of Harvey LA. Daughter of the late Mose Henry Sr. and Bertha Roussell Henry. Devoted wife of Willie James Houston Sr. Beloved mother of Willie James Jr., Diana and Alfred Houston (Kim). Grandmother of Gerald, Diane, Kendrich, Shemire, Eli, Angle and Arthur Houston and Alfred Butler. Sister of Diane Henry, Elaine Hamilton, Linda Henry, Suzzanne Dixon, Adrains Henry, Mose, David, Evendousa and Warren Henry and the late Arthur and Russell Henry. Sister in law of Bernice Goffner, Carrie M. Smith, Jannie Mae Houston, Linda Houston, Willie Jean Goffner, (Wilson Sr.), Ruby Lee McClure (Lee), Mary Ann Biden and Ernest Lee Houston (Emma). Daughter in law of Pastor James Houston Jr. Deceased is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and devoted friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Second Pleasant Grove Baptist Church located at 1829 Pailet St. Harvey, LA. 70058. The visitation will begin at 9AM followed by a 10AM service. Rev. James Houston is the host pastor and Pastor Louis Harrison Brooks of Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church will officiated. Entombment will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery 1225 Whitney Ave. Gretna, Louisiana.
