Brenda Marie Cornin Narcisse

Brenda Marie Cornin Narcisse "Grand Maw" entered eternal rest on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at her home in Point Ala Hache LA. one day after her 77th birthday. She was a native and lifelong resident of Point Ala Hache. Brenda was a graduate of Phoenix High School class of 1966 and was a retired deputy with the Plaquemines Parish Sheriff's Department. Daughter of the late Victor and Ursula Encalade Cornin. Devoted wife for 54 years of Anthony Lawrence "De-De" Narcisse. Beloved mother of Jarred, Ryan (late Darlene), Navon (Jawanda), Denadrea and Shanika Narcisse. Sister of Ursula Barthelemy, Deneen Cornin, Casterdaroll and Dwayne Cornin and the late Armond Cornin Sr. Sister-in-law of Rose Parker (late Nelson), Frances Narcisse, Caffie Riley, Billie Jean Narcisse (late Oliver), Felix Narcisse (late Ruby), Kermit Narcisse (Samantha), Cladmon Narcisse (Joyce) and the late Faye, Ruby and Paul Narcisse and Karen Cornin. Devoted cousin of Lynette Harvey and Gwendolyn Adams. Brenda is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was proceeded in death by her father and mother-in-law Oliver Sr. and Lolita Sylve Narcisse and two grandchildren Ryan and Nashelle Narcisse.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at St. Thomas Catholic Church 17605 Hwy 15, Point Ala Hache LA. 70082. The visitation will begin at 9AM followed by an 11AM mass. Father Sampson Abduli will officiate. As per Brenda's wishes her interment will be private.
