Bevelyn Riley Williams departed this life peacefully at her home in Port Sulphur LA. on Monday, July 1st. 2024 at the age of 79. She was born in Bohemia LA. on December 13, 1944 to the union of the late Sidney Herman Riley and Gustavia Parker Riley. She is the stepdaughter of Ella Ragas Riley. Beloved mother of Gustavia Webber (Kenneth deceased), Sabrina Johnson (Marcus), Lynwood Ducro (Jennifer), Toki Ducro and Sidney Ducro. Sister of Renell Riley (Mary), Reshell Riley (Wayne), Wayne Michael Ragas (Tanya), and the late Connie Ragas, Anna Mae, Herman, Clark, Jackie, and Rodney Riley. Sister in law of Nearnice Riley. Bevelyn is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and devoted friends. She was a lifelong resident of Plaquemines Parish where she raised her 5 children. In her younger years she enjoyed playing cards, working as a cook and later as a licensed day care provider and cosmetologist. To know Bevelyn was to love her. She had a unique way with words and an extraordinary vocabulary. She meant what she said and said exactly what she meant. She will truly be missed by her family and friends. She was proceeded in death by her parents and grandsons Roshawn Ducro and Adrian Barthelemy.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service on Friday, July 12, 2024 at Robinson Family Funeral Home located at 9611 LA-23, Belle Chasse LA. 70037. The visitation will begin at 9:30AM followed by an 11AM service. Pastor Roy Mareno of River Of Life Church of Port Sulphur LA. will officiate. Burial will be private.
