Asia Renee Garrison

Asia Rene Garrison, 27 years old, passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2025, in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was a proud graduate and a beloved volunteer office-aide of Belle Chasse High School. She was an entrepreneur with top notch sales ability. Asia was baptized at the age of 14 years old at St. Peter Missionary Baptist Church pastored by Rev. Darnell Smith, Sr. She was in the youth and senior choir, attended bible study, Sunday school and Vacation Bible School. She is survived by her four legged son, Prince, mother Christy Lynn Garrison, father Anthony Garrison, sister Shanbriel (Clifton) Bartholomew, nephew Markhi Bartholomew, niece Caylie Bartholomew, Aunt Bertha Barthelemy, "favorite cousin" Rhonda Kay Williams, best friends Justin Huckabay & Najewah Abukhalil, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends. Asia is preceded in death by her grandparents: Ruthie Mae Jones, Eddie Williams, Oscar Garrison, Sr. and Veraldine Garrison.

Asia was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her journey on this earth was defined by love, compassion, and an unwavering faith in God. She lived with grace, strength, and a heart open to all.
Her passing has left a deep void in the hearts of her family, friends, and the many others whose lives she touched. As we mourn her loss we also celebrate the beauty of her life, the joy she brought, the kindness she gave so freely and the lasting impact she made on everyone around her.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service on Monday, August 18, 2025 at Robinson Family Funeral Home 9611 LA-23, Belle Chasse LA. The visitation will begin at 8:30AM followed by a 10AM service. Dr. Darnell Smith Sr. of the St. Peter Missionary Baptist Church will officiate. Entombment will follow in Our Lady Of Good Harbor Cemetery in Buras LA.
