Antonio Rovaris was born on December 13th, 1963, in New Orleans, LA, to the union of Robert L. Rovaris and Mary M. Rovaris. He departed this life on Wednesday, March 2nd, 2022, at Tulane University Medical Center in New Orleans, LA.
Antonio accepted Christ and was baptized in 2017, at Franklin Avenue Baptist Church by Pastor Fred Luter, Jr.
Antonio was educated in New Orleans public school system.
He loved watching sports, eating and joking around with his family. Antonio was a devoted son to his mother and accompanied her to doctor appointments. He was also a devoted uncle to his nieces and nephews. He was always willing to help anyone when he could.
Left to cherish his memory are his four sisters, Donna R. Thomas (Clayton), Deborah Ann Rovaris (Harold) OF Eunice, LA., Rachnique G. Track (Carl), Robbie R. Johnson (Musa) or Fort Worth Texas, and one brother, Albert Gregory Christopher Wilson, one Aunt Joyce J. Franklin, brother-in-law, Ryan Bush, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and devoted friends.
Antonio is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Myer Jones, father Robert L. Rovaris Jr., stepfather, Clarence Jones and his brother Robert L. Rovaris III, sister, Tiffany Jones Bush and his nephew, Louis Tracy Rovaris.
Relatives and friends of the family are in invited to attend the celebration of life services on Friday, March 18th, 2022, at Franklin Avenue Baptist Church, located at 8282 I – 10, Service Road South, New Orleans, LA 70126. The visitation will begin at 9 a.m., and the service will begin at 10 a.m. Pastor Fred Luter Jr, officiating and interment will be private.
Due to COVID – 19, EVERYONE in attendance MUST wear a facemask or other proper facial covering and practice social distancing.
