Antoine Frank Ragas

Antoine Frank "Pupp" Ragas departed this life peacefully on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at the age of 87. He was a native of Port Sulphur, LA., and a lifelong resident of Diamond, LA. Antoine served his country in the United States Navy. He was retired operator with Freeport McMoran.
Son of the late Anthony Leonard Ragas and the late Marie Augustine Parker Ragas. Beloved husband of Lillian Martha Ragas. Father of Kimberly Matalamaki (Jamie). Grandfather of Ian and Aiden Ragas. Beloved brother of the late Mary Ragas Ducro (Allen deceased), the late Larry Ragas Sr. (Manuella), and the late Joseph Ragas (Delores). Antoine is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, Godchildren, other relatives and devoted friends.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration Of Life service on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at St. Patrick Catholic Church located at 28698 LA-24, Port Sulphur LA. 70083. The visitation will begin at 8:30AM followed by a Mass Of Christian Burial at 10:30AM. Father Gerard P. Stapleton and Father Kyle Dave will officiate. Entombment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery.
A repass will follow the entombment at St. Patrick Church Life Center.
