Annie Mae Slang

Annie Mae Moore Slang entered eternal rest at Chateau Living Center on Friday September 2, 2022, at the age of 72. Annie was born October 13, 1949, to the union of the late Robert Moore and Estella “Sally” Moore.

Annie leaves to cherish her memories daughters Sandra Slang Smith and Ciara Hall (Fred), son in law Terry Smith, three grandchildren Kiara Hall, Brandon Smith and Kentrell Hall and three God-children Daryl Jones, Terry Scott and Keva Dixon and dearest friend Estelle Dennis. Annie is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents Robert Moore and Estella Moore, brother Robert Moore, sisters Mannie Moore and Margaret C Lewis and grandson Terrell Elijah Smith.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the celebration of life services which will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at New Zion Christian Family Worship Center located at 5040 Taravella Road, Marrero, LA 70072.  Visitation will begin at 9 a.m., and the service will begin at 10 am.  Pastor Cornell Bridges officiating, and interment will follow at Restlawn Cemetery in Avondale, LA. 

Due to COVID – 19, it is recommended that everyone in attendance wear a facemask.
