Anne Marie Theresa Kerner Templet

Anne Marie ("Anne") Theresa Kerner Templet, age 69, left to be with the Lord on April 26, 2025.
She was born on September 22, 1955, in Gretna, LA to the late George F. Kerner, Sr. and Irma St. Germain Kerner. Widow of Kenneth J. Templet, Sr.
She is survived by her devoted and loving companion for over twenty years, Steven R. Vogt and her four children, Antoinette ("Netty") Marie Templet, Alane Katherine Templet (Emmett Dykes Ill), Kenneth Joseph Templet, Jr., and Ariane Gabrielle Templet Henry (Lee Henry). She was the beloved "Grammy" to Abigail Josephine Dykes. She is also survived by her brothers, George F. Kerner, Jr. and Robert G. Kerner, Sr., and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was a 1973 graduate of L.W. Higgins High School and spent most of her life in Belle Chasse, LA. After her husband's death in 2003, Anne worked for Families Helping Families of Greater New Orleans and later became a long-time dedicated employee of the Plaquemines Parish School Board. She was passionate about advocating for parents and families of special-needs children and often shared her experiences in the hopes of helping others.

Anne could be found on the weekends at local garage sales and appreciated the friendships she made over the years with those who shared her hobby. More often than not, she came home with gifts and treasures she found for others rather than herself. She took pleasure in volunteering at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Fair's annual garage sale. She enjoyed attending mass on Sundays and tending to her flower and vegetable garden.

Anne loved to spend time with her family and her fur babies and beamed with joy when she spoke of them. She always wore a smile on her face and offered uplifting advice and a kind word to anyone she met. Anne will be remembered for being a wonderful, kind, selfless, thoughtful, and loving woman, and she will be missed greatly.

Relatives and friend of the family are invited to attend Anne's funeral services which will be held on Monday, May 5, 2025, at Robinson Family Funeral Home, 9611 Highway 23, Belle Chasse, LA 70037. Family visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., and public visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. A Catholic funeral mass will begin at 12:00 p.m. with Father Kyle Dave of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Belle Chasse. Interment to immediately follow at OLPH Cemetery, 8968 Highway 23, Belle Chasse, LA 70037.
