Alma Freeman Collins

Alma Freeman Collins departed this life on Sunday, June 19th, 2022, at her home in Waggaman, LA.  She was 86 years old.  Daughter of Jessie Freeman and Blanchard Wilson. 

Mother of Antoinette Brooks, James Powell, Della Powell, Robert Powell, and Penny Hill.  Sister of Tony Hicks and the late Violet McKnight.  Loving grandmother of 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 2 great - great grandchildren.  She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and devoted friends. 

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the celebration of life services on Saturday, July 2nd, 2022, at Robinson Family Funeral Home located at 9611 LA – 23, Belle Chasse, LA 70037.  The visitation will begin at 10 a.m., and the service will begin at 11 a.m. 

Interment will be private.

Due to COVID – 19, it is required that everyone in attendance wear a facemask.
